Code of Conduct

Bronx Burners Run Club aims to make running accessible to all in the Bronx community. Our motto 'opportunity through community' drives us to promote health, unity, and empowerment through running. We organize events, provide training, and support local causes to create a positive impact.

Our initiatives are designed for all backgrounds and paces to help you achieve your goals, train with others, challenge yourself, support and meet other runners, inspire and develop friendships and be the best you.

We welcome you to join us in our journey towards a healthier and more connected Bronx, and in doing so adhere to our Participant Code of Conduct, designed to keep all of our stakeholders feeling safe and supported.  Any members found in violation of our code of conduct may be removed from the team. 

As a member of Bronx Burners RC, it's important to remember that we’re not just athletes—we’re role models to each other and youth members in the community. Always act with integrity and respect, creating a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment. Your behavior sets the tone for the next generation of runners, so let’s lead by example—respecting others, staying humble, and encouraging everyone to thrive. Maintain conduct that fosters a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for all members and guests of the club, respecting everyones boundaries and ensuring the club remains an inclusive space. 

Keep it positive and respectful at all times and represent the club in a positive way, in person, online, and across the running community.  

Members are asked to immediately report any inappropriate actions or behaviors, in writing, to a member of BBRC Leadership.
